Once again, Mark was the sole instrument modeler for this Guitar Hero project. It was Mark's remit to accurately model well over one hundred guitars and basses as well as drums, amplifiers, speakers and props.

In October of 2007 Neversoft Entertainment sent a small army of motion capture specialists, game designers, animators and artists to Aerosmith's recording studio in Massachusetts. Amongst this group was Mark Scott, whose job was to direct a photoshoot of Aerosmith's stage equipment.

Working with Tom Hamilton and Joe Perry, Mark focused on key instruments from the band's long career, reproducing them in exquisite detail from the style of bass pickup to the type of wood, to the dents, dings and scratches on the back of Joe Perry's Gretsch doubleneck.

With Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry's aid, Mark also wrote histories of the guitars and other band instruments.

Working closely with Neversoft's concept artists, Mark also established themes for the various 'secret' Aerosmith guitars in the game.
